Edmonton Community Legal Centre – Legal Advice Clinic

Offers a summary legal advice clinic where clients can get free advice for up to 45 minutes with a lawyer over the phone, and sometimes in-person.
Service provides:
- a volunteer lawyer to explain legal issues, outline steps in resolving a matter, help filling out documents, and makes referrals
Volunteer lawyers may assist with:
- landlord-tenant disputes
- human rights concerns
- employment law
- debt law
- small claims
- estate law, including adult guardianship / trusteeship
Clients may then be referred to the following programs:
- Civil Law Program
- Family Law Program
- Immigration Law Program
Does not deal with criminal law matters.
