Provides information on the needs, role, and rights of victims in the criminal justice system and restorative justice program; practical assistance such as safety planning, accompaniment to court, police, or hospital; help with completing Victim Impact statements, and Victim of Crime Emergency Fund applications, and registrations for Victim Notification Programs, and the National Parole Board; emotional support and referrals to community services for victims of crime and tragedy. There is no Victim Compensation Fund in the Northwest Territories. Office hours for all locations are 8:30 am to 5 pm Mountain time Monday to Friday.
