Aisha is committed to social justice and has a keen interest in supporting survivors of sexual harassment. She joined Aftermetoo as a project manager in 2019, and in 2022 was invited to join the board. For more than 15 years, Aisha has been working to advance social justice goals at nonprofit and community-based organizations in Toronto, including ones offering youth counseling and arts programming, seniors’ services, and employment services for people experiencing homelessness. She currently works at Justice for Children and Youth, a Toronto-based legal clinic and children’s rights organization.
